Cha Eun Woo’s good looks made other actors in “Decibel” feel pressured.
ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo is about to make his big-screen debut with the movie “Decibel” set for release on November 16th. He plays Jeon Tae Ryong, a naval submarine sound detection sergeant.
Park Byung Eun, who rarely met other actors at the time of filming, was surprised to see Cha Eun Woo in real life at the production briefing. He said, “He looks like a CG. It’s the first time I’ve seen such a handsome person.”
Later, when he met Cha Eun Woo again at a press conference, Park Byung Eun praised Cha Eun Woo, saying, “Even though it was his first movie, I was surprised by Cha Eun Woo’s good acting. The short hair looks good on him. It highlights his manly charm.”
As a senior, Park Byung Eun said that he felt that Cha Eun Woo could become a better actor in the future. He showed affection and trust in Cha Eun Woo, saying, “I have no doubt that he will be able to grow into a better actor through this film.”
Jo Dal Hwan, who plays Cha Eun Woo’s boss in “Decibel”, confessed, “I’ve seen Jang Dong Gun, Hyun Bin, Lee Jung Jae, and Jung Woo Sung, but it’s been a while since I’ve seen such a perfect person.” He jokingly added, “It was uncomfortable to film two-shots next to him.”
Lee Jong Suk said that he felt that Cha Eun Woo was very cool and good-looking. Lee Jong Suk revealed that he acted with tension because of Cha Eun Woo’s serious attitude to acting.
Cha Eun Woo said that he was excited and nervous because it was his first movie. He felt that it was an amazing experience and that he learned a lot from the advice of senior actors such as Kim Rae Won and Lee Jong Suk, as well as the staff.
“Decibel” is a sound terrorism action film about a bomb designer (Lee Jong Suk) who wants to take over the city center with a special bomb that explodes the moment the noise gets louder. His target is a former navy admiral (Kim Rae Won). The film will be released on November 16th.
Following “face genius”, Cha Eun Woo has coined another viral Korean phrase, “Choi Cha Cha Cha”, which means “My favorite is Cha Eun Woo, my second favorite is also Cha Eun Woo”. Hopefully, his outstanding acting skills that he has shown in dramas will shine in his first movie as well.
